Can you get on disability for depression and social anxiety?

Is it possible to get on discability for depression and social anxiety in connecticut? I am 22 years old and have not been able to hold a job for more than 6 months. Any info is extremely helpful, thank you.

    Yes, people have been place on short term disability for these diagnosis. But only after a sufficient amount of documented attempts to work with medical personnel on the relief of symptoms. Simply not being able to hold down a job will not qualify you. Nor should it. Disability is a tax based benefit. paid for by hard working people, some severely depressed, and countless other other mental health disorders.

    Yeah, bit it can take years to get benefits so you’re better off just focusing on getting your life together and making a living for yourself.

    i was the same way i have paronid schizophrenia went from job to job held jobs no longer than 3 months. i wish you luck.
