My puppy gets anxiety over car rides. help.?

My 6 month old puppy gets super anxious when ever i try to take him anywhere in the car. Before he even gets into the car he starts foaming at the mouth and drooling, this is just when he is standing outside of it. I’ve tried treats and training as far as even getting into the back seat and calling him into the car and giving him treats and praise when he jumps into the car himself. Things will seem ok until i drive, then he starts foaming and drooling again. He’s even thrown up before!! (once in the car and once before after we got to out destination)
I need to get him to go places in the car quite often, vet every 3 weeks, and puppy classes starting in a week.
I’d love to take him to the woods or dog park too!

My pup had the same problem. Everytime in the car, throw up. This is what I did to help him through it. I don’t feed him food or water atleast 30 minutes before any car ride. I take him on a vigorous 10 to 15 minute walk and then into the car we go. My trips started small. From home to the corner of the block and back. Around the block once. Around the block twice. At the end of every trip, got out, treat and praise. It took about 2 weeks before short trips were not a problem. As I needed to take him on longer trips, I worked him up to it. 45 minute rides ended in a walk and potty break.
