Daycare Anxiety
what to look for in a daycare/sitter?HELP!?

We are looking at daycares and home based care givers for our daughter who is turing one in september. We are going to visit a home based care giver tomorrow. It will be the first one we are visiting, but I’m not really sure what I need to ask and look for. I am also really nervous that no one will take care of our daughter because she has separation anxiety when she is away from me. Has anyone had that problem? Please ease my daycare anxieties!

My daughter was way younger than yours when she had to go to the babysitter for the first time, she was 3 months old when we had her at a babysitter. But she has a great babysitter. She came highly recommend. When we went to visit her I had her hold my daughter to see how they interacted with each other. I asked her questions like how much first off, and how many kids she has, and what kind of stuff they would be doing during the day. I told her my daughters quirks and if those would be a problem. Any concerns you have you should ask them.
Your daughter is already to the separation anxiety age, so it may take some getting use to. My daughter is 4 months now and been going to her sitter for 3 weeks now, and it took about a little less than a week for her to get use to being with the sitter, and now they love each other.
