Death Anxiety Children
pregnant with anxiety… what to do?!?

i suffer with anxiety and i often have panick attacks!
which i am currently seeking medical treatment for
( weekly sessions of thearopy & the odd herbal tablet when needed which is very rare these days )
one of my biggest fears & anxiety is having my blood taken or niddles and i dont really like taking tablets unless its life or death!

i just found out im pregnant this morning… i hear when i go to the doctors im going to have to have blood taken? is this 100% needed? cant i just pee in a cup instead?

i have sooo many anxiety about pregnancy
what if my child has a defect, what if he or she isnt healthy, what if i misscarry, how am i going to cope with birth, how am i going to cope threw out the pregnancy?

I know where you’re coming from…I suffer from GAD and normally I take Zoloft, but can’t now that i’m pregnant. Talk to your doctor about it…he may have suggestions. There are breathing exercises that you can do to help calm yourself and other techniques. Unfortunately, though, they will have to take blood, there are a number of blood based tests that must be done. Good luck to you.
