The adrenaline released in your system due to panic attacks or high stress levels can make you feel afterwards like you’ve just run a marathon. It’s kind of like when you have too much caffeine and then later you “crash” and feel tired. And being tired or not getting enough sleep can exacerbate panic disorders because you brain is not functioning quite as well as it would be had you gotten enough sleep. It creates further stress on your system.
