Domestic Anxiety
My 16 y/o is flying alone for the first time (domestic flight). How far/long can I stay with her preboarding?

My daughter has only flown twice before and was hit pretty hard with pre flight anxiety. And she was with us at the time. I am not worried really that she won’t be safe, but I would like to stay with her as long as possible before the plane actually takes off. At her age, she doesn’t require special “child flying alone” attention, but she still is just a kid and a pretty timid one at that. I’m having a difficult time finding out exactly what the regulations are for this. I will have my younger daughter with me and will be bringing proper id for all of us. Can we go to the gate and watch her plane actually take off?

Thanks!

Yes, you can.
