Exercise Anxiety Depression

All Of Us Get Anxiety Depression At One Point

Anxiety depression just like any other types of depression, is a condition that tampers with your mood swings. This health problem makes your moods unstable and you may often find yourself either anxious or depressed depending on the situation you are in at that particular moment. The problem often occurs as a result of traumatic experiences in life. While anxiety is referred to as the normal response to an incoming possible danger, depression is referred to the normal response to any form of loss or misfortune. For this reason, a person having anxiety depression usually has two sets of symptoms.

Symptoms of anxiety are such as, racing thoughts, agitation, lack of concentration even in small matters, accelerated speech, elevated energy levels among other symptoms. Depression symptoms on the other hand include; extreme conditions of sadness, frequent crying without major reasons, a sense of hopelessness, a feeling of unworthiness and so on. It should however be noted that both these sets of symptoms may only exist or occur when the patient is experiencing respective episodes of  anxiety depression. This means that, anxiety symptoms will only be  experienced when the patient is anxious and depression symptoms will only be realized when the patient is depressed.

Something else that is important to know is that anxiety symptoms will only last until the anticipated danger is over. Once this episode is done away with, the person may become normal again. However, the same cannot be said about the depression symptoms since they usually occur after the threat has taken place and the person failed to solve the problem as they were supposed to and now they may be facing the consequences of failure. For this reason, symptoms of depression have no particular length of time to which they can be said they are going to last since everyone deals with depression differently.

A major type of anxiety depression that often occurs in people is the post-traumatic stress disorder commonly known as PTSD. This condition is brought about as a result of undergoing a terrifying ordeal such as a violent assault or a terrible accident. Once you have this health problem, you tend to re-live traumatic events in the form of flashbacks, nightmares or bad memories.

One common way of dealing with anxiety depression is by exercising.Exercises help the patient build a sense of confidence since being physically active makes the patient have a sense of accomplishment because when meeting goals or overcoming challenges in life regardless of how small they are, boosts a person’s self confidence. Another way that exercises may help the patient is by offering him with some kind of relieve. By doing this, the patient will be made to shift his focus from bad thoughts and dwell on the more positive ones. If you find that exercises are not working out well for you, medical attention is usually highly recommended. By seeking medical attention, your doctor may experiment on various options available to him such as the use of medicines or just psychotherapy which help a great deal in treating the condition.
