Does anxiety medication for dogs work?

Hello, I have a 10 month old rough collie who is very scared of traffic, especially trucks, trains and so on. He has been properly socialized to these things at a young age, but still developed this fear. Professional training is very costly, so someone has suggested all natural remedies for stress sold in specialized pet stores. Do these really work, are they safe?

Get ur dog around more traffic and reinforce that he is safe and won’t get hurt and PRAISE him!!!!! Meds are not the answer unless u want to buy these for the rest of ur dogs life and don’t mind that u don’t really have “your” dog. Training may be costly but it’s only once when meds are forever and therefor costly in the end.
