Hypnotherapy in Sheffield for the fear of Flying

I have worked with a number of people who have had a fear of flying.  Generally speaking I have helped people within one session, as long as they are willing to carry on using the tailor made CD I provide them on a daily basis, until the fear dissolves.

My first ever customer through the Yellow Pages (10 years ago) booked a number of Hypnotherapy sessions in advance.  The day before he was coming to his next session, he rang to ask if his partner could come in his place, as they were going on holiday in a week and she really feared flying.

This was the first time I had worked with anybody with this specific fear, but I was confident that it would result in a positive outcome.  In those days I recorded the Hypnotherapy session with the client onto a tape, which they took away and used on a daily basis.

The end result was the lady went away on holiday and really enjoyed it and played the tailor made Hypnotherapy recording I provided her, every day during the holiday to reinforce her new belief.

A few years ago a lady came to see me, after she had cancelled a wedding anniversary holiday.  She came at the last minute, after the local travel agent had passed my card onto her.   The lady said that she wasn’t the type of person who relaxed, but by the end of the session, she was commenting how much the tension had released in her shoulders.   I now recorded the tailor made Hypnotherapy sessions onto CD’s, which she took away with her.

For some reason I had misplaced her telephone number and couldn’t contact her, but found out through the local travel agent, that she had flown successfully on her next holiday.   A month later she had flown on a further holiday.  Years later her husband came to see me for Stopping smoking, but not through her recommendation, but from a totally different source.   He cancelled one of his sessions because they were going on holiday again, which was quite a coincidence.

When I work with individuals who have a fear of flying, I first have to find out more about their fear, because no person will experience reality exactly the same.   I then relax them very deeply and suggest a positive outcome into their subconscious mind, I will also get them to visualise a positive experience of their holiday from start to finish, including the journey along the way.

I may also suggest to them that the journey will pass really quickly, so that they distort the journey into a smaller time frame and spend more time enjoying their holiday, rather than worrying about the journey before hand and while on holiday.

This tailor made session is recorded directly onto a CD which they take away with them.   I would also recommend that they add the Hypnotherapy session onto a MP3 player, so that they can listen to it daily while on holiday.

By using the Hypnotherapy recording I provide daily, it helps the individual become more relaxed in situations, that in the past would have stressed them out.   But on top of this as they start to unwind, any negative emotions that they have been repressing, can be released by the subconscious mind, re-evaluated by the older self and then stored away back in the subconscious mind in a more harmonious way.

The visualisation of a successful journey on a daily basis, will create new neural path ways in the brain.

The positive suggestions into their subconscious mind while they are in a deep state of relaxation, will re-inforce the outcome.
