Gastrointestinal Anxiety

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Depression?
I have had problems with my stomach, bowel movements, and pain in the chest and back for about 6 months. I have had blood work, two different types of stress tests, and endoscopy and Dr’s say I am ok. I went back to my Gastrointestinal Dr today and he is treating me funny, like I am crazy or something. Says I have IBS. I looked it up and from what I can tell IBS is caused by stress, anxiety, and depression, and MayoClinic suggests taking Anti-Depressants. I don’t have a stressful job! And I am not f u c k i n g crazy either! Am I misunderstanding the definition of IBS and it’s treatment?
I AM NOT DEPRESSED OR STRESSED! EVEN IF I WAS I WOULD NOT TAKE ANTI-DEPRESSANTS! ANTI-DEPRESSANTS ARE FOR LOOSERS!
You def don’t need anti-depressants for IBS! A simple change in diet can change that. Check this out.

Someone going through the exact thing you are. I also have a relative who had IBS and also handled it completely with a dietary change. I am not saying that all IBS is caused by a food allergy but it is worth a try.
