General Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder are making it difficult to work, can I get disability benifits?

Is this a valid reason to qualify for disability? If so, how?
I do believe you can. My dad was put on “mental disability” due to depression. Contact your local disability office. Social Security I believe it is. Good luck and God bless you. I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time, I pray that you get better.
i’m sorry, i don’t know the answer to your question since i don’t know what country you’re writing from and each location can vary with their benefit rules and regulations.
but i just wanted to say-my heart goes out to you. best of luck, you are not sufering alone never forget that.

My best friend got disability for her Anxiety Disorder. She just went and applyed, and was approved. I dont exactly remember how long it took her, but not very long.
you should really check out reducingstress.net.(http://www.reducingstress.net ) There is a lot of great content, information articles and links on the subject there.
first of all you can’t apply if you are working.It is possible to get disability with alot of documentation from your doctor and if you can prove it affects your activities of daily living.You may have to file appeals until you get it and you will probably need an attorney.Can you survive with no income for 2 years.Good Luck
I kinda go through the same thing. you should be able to get disability benefits I know my Uncle dose cause he has a learning disability and anger problem. God bless hang in their.
