I haven’t been diagnosed with social anxiety but I know that this is what I have. I don’t know how to go about finding a doctor because I don’t have a regular one.

Check into local mental health services for your area, if you don’t have a family doctor.

You should also not be self-diagnosing. You have no idea what you have, if anything.

Find a mental health center in your community. Look onlinE.They will evaluate you & prescibe a medication if it is needed.

in my area the Mental Health Services won’t see you unless you are suicidal. Isn’t that awful? Do ask a few people who they recommend for a family doctor. Make an appointment, tell the Dr. everything. Make notes to take with you because you will probably be nervous. If he doesn’t help you look up mental health in the phone book for other possibilities, but a prescription must come from an MD.

Your best bet is to call a local hospital and get a list of doctors in your area and make an appointment. Explain to the doctor your symptoms. You and the doctor can decide together how best to treat your symptoms. Good luck
