I have this disorder and I struggle greatly. I also have OCD, but I just want to hear other peoples experiences to see how they live with it and what helps you to cope.

I have GAD and it has affected my life in so many ways. My thoughts are always racing and I feel nervous around people all the time. I feel just exhausted to do the smallest things.

I feel really moody at times and my anxiety also really gets me sad sometimes.

Although it makes my life have a lot of hurdles because of GAD, I’ve found some things have really helped me cope:
    1) talking to a counselor every week to just vent
    2) exercising (cardio for 30 mins daily helps tremendously)
    3) taking fish oils (that have epa and dha) daily
    4) taking a vitamin b complex daily
    5) meditation for 45 mins at a yoga studio once per week

If you can do just one of those things I would recommend the fish oil and vitamin B. It takes less than a minute of my day and honestly makes a different my anxiety.

    Good luck!
