How should I bring these things up with my therapist?
I have some problems I need to talk about with my therapist/psycologist/”mental health counselor”/whatever it’s called, but I don’t know how. Here they are (in no particular order):
1. I’m a compulsive liar because my Mom always told me if I told her the truth I wouldn’t get in trouble and when I did she beat me.
2. I have a fear of heights because when I was about 3 I fell onto(Yes, onto) a flight of stairs.
3. I have homicidal tendencies.
4. I have suicidal tendencies.
5. I was molested on six separate occasions as a child and I believe that because of this I am a pervert (I am a “furry”, gay, and have a strong time controlling myself sexually. I have fantasies of rape and pedophilia too).
6. I believe I am going to experience a second childhood (Or whatever it’s called) later in life.
7. I am extremely (EXTREMELY) antisocial.
8. I feel as though my ability to remain mentally stable is deteriorating at a quick pace.
I’ve tried speaking to people about these things before, but whenever I tell them about one thing they get set on focusing solely on that one thing and absolutely nothing else at all whatsoever (And it’s usually only one of the simpler things I listed that they won’t get over) and then I jus give up and don’t even bother mentioning anything else to them and I eventually just stop seeing them. What should I do?
