@MadelineHatter Lets just say its the worst feeling in the world. You are convinced you are about to die. If your fear is fixated around (example, because most people fear this) lets say the holocaust, you may even feel as if you are a Jew about to be executed. You can’t get the hopeless thoughts out of your head which only makes it worse. BP rises, BPM (heartbeats per minute) increase very rapidly, you drip sweat in the liters, you may vomit, the list goes on.

@MadelineHatter An anxiety attack is a colloquial/synonymous term for panic attack. The 2 terms are basically the name provided for the same set of symptoms associated with panic/anxiety/depression.

Are panic attacks and anxiety attacks related?

@timfode but if you’re in denial, and not accepting it, it’s not as clear.

Like a normal hard working college student I am full time in school and work; I honestly don’t have time for panic attacks. Is there an online support group I can go to for more help? Also, how long does it normally take for your body to get used to the meds? Thanks much!

@MadelineHatter If you think your having a panic attack you more then likely are having a panic attack. The more you question if you are the worse it gets.

I have suffered with panic attacks for 15 years and all the counseling, medication and books I have purchased within the 15 years just masked the fear, never eliminated it for good. The only program that has given me long term success was Barry Joe McDonaghs Panic Away program. Thank you so much Barry for changing my life. My 15 year battle with panic attacks is now a thing of the past. Click on my channel mypanicaway for details.
