You have been to a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist haven’t you? This is the treatment of choice for you. My daughter is receiving it now. And, of course, there is medicine for this too. Contact your state psychologist and/or counsellors’ associations for the name of a practitioner near you.

I would suggest yoga, and meditation, but clearly some reasonable facimilie of them have been used with you unless your clinicians are completely brain dead. Exericsee is important too to relieve the stress you encounter, even if it’s done alone. Swimming is excellent. Rhythmic, challenging, and a lot of deep breathing.

Since this has been such an issue for you, do ‘all’ of the above. You deserve to feel good, and taking a full out frontal assault is what you deserve. I hope this helps you, and I and others are cheering for you. Good luck ok!! Ciao!!

Hi Mark, Have you tried giving a few hours of your time volunteering? I volunteer at a hospital once a week and it’s helping me a lot.

    Hi,

I had the same problem like you for a long time and I know what it is like. I don’t like to take prescription medicines so I looked for other methods to try and get over this. What helped me to overcome social anxiety disorder was I owe a lot to this method. It helped me when medicine would not.
