Can hypnosis cure anxiety?
i just want to say thank you everyone for taking the time to answer my questions an help w/ my problems, i my have more questions in the future.
i was wondering can hypnosis help to rid of anxiety and take the the horrible thoughts and situations that people with anxiety go through.can hypnonsis take any of those fears away?
why do women like me and other ones have anxiety more?
are there any of you like me who go through these things?
or worry was going to happen?
if you can share some ideas and tips on how you deal with this or might help please let me know.

Hypnotists claim that yes, they can take away anxiety.
They claim many other things too. For people that are willing and easily susceptible to hypnotism, there seems to have been some success. My mom tried to quit smoking with hypnotism, spent a lot of money, not once but twice, and claims it just didn’t work.
I fight hypnosis automatically, I just don’t trust the process I guess, it’s not for everyone, so be careful, Kendall. Nobody needs to be ripped off.
I take Effexor and Neurontin for my anxiety and panic attacks and go to support groups and exercise 2.6 miles a day, otherwise I know I will start a downhill slide with my illnesses. I’ve been stable and happy 8.7 years.
The site below offers free hypnosis CD’s, it explains “What hypnosis is” and has a variety of material. I don’t know anything about it personally.
