Information Anxiety Definition
I need the definition of two medical terms……..?

1) If someone is told they have emulative worries, what does that mean? I did look up the word “emulative” but I’m still puzzled. Is that when you are two-minded about something, for example being worried about whether given a choice, whether the one you choose will be the right one?

2) What is anticipatory anxiety? (is that an anxiety that occurs before you even know an event or occurrence is even going to happen?)

I would prefer that people only answer this question if you actually know the answer. I know how easy it is to try and make an educated guess, but that is what I have already done, so now I am looking for someone who knows the answers for sure. Thanks so much to anyone who can give me this information, I really appreciate it a lot!

The answer to #2 is EXACTLY as you’ve written it, YES! That an anxiety occurs before you even know an event or occurrence is going to happen.

To emulate means to copy, to pattern oneself after or to style as. It implies there is therefore control over the situation, even if the person does not yet see that to be true. It also implies that there is a person or persons in your life ridden w/ anxiety issues that you tend to be just like. Learning some biofeedback and some other behavioural options besides anxiety and worrying would be the ticket now, this is to say change of venue and behavioural modification is in order now.

Anyone have anything else to add here?
