If you are young and you know you have panic attacks, then I suspect all you need to do is relax. Generally, your thoughts are causing your heart to race. It’s like watching a scary movie: what you think about causes your body to react.
I would suggest you schedule an appointment with your doctor. You can discuss your concerns and learn what to do. You may have to take medication for a short period of time to combat your feelings of panic, but your heart is fine. Some counseling can help you overcome this.
You should see a doctor is psychiatrist.
There are no cases of someone dying of a panic attack, but they are scary and you should receive some help for them. If they’re very serious, a doctor my prescribe you some medication to help it stop.
But mainly, you should just try to relax. When you do have one, just tell yourself that you’re going to be okay. You’re just having a panic attack and in 15 minutes you’ll probably feel fine.
It is important for you to go to a doctor because it may not be a panic attack, it could be something more serious. So, don’t be afraid to tell your parents and see someone about it.
You do need to tell someone who can help you out. I’ve had panic attacks for years now. I know its hard but you really have to try to calm down. It might sound stupid. But try to concentrate on your breathing pattern. For an instance, take a deep breath hold it for about 5 seconds, release the air slowly for other 5 seconds, hold your breath for other 5 seconds counting in your head. Basically what you will be doing is relaxing and by counting in your head it makes you focus in something else rather than your fears. You need to be in control at all times and know you’re stronger than your anxiaty. You can also grab a paper bag but honestly that works for a bit. Well in my case anyways. Don’t be ashame to tell your parents about it. Seek help because even though its just your nerves playing a trick on you. It can scare you since you’re so new to this ugly experience. If I can help you in any way i can please email me. Remember you will be fine, you wont have a heart attack and weird headaches will be normal sometimes. There is nothing wrong with you. But somehow the panic attacks reflect as physical pains. You will be fine. Now if you have real weird thoughts, and uncontrollable pain I recomend you seek help. I can’t stress enough that you are fine its your nervous system hun..Hopefully tomorrow you will feel better. And if you do. You must try to do something you enjoy to keep your mind off whatever is triggering your panic attacks. Recognize the signals, become familiar with the symptoms and once you know you’re about to have one. It will be only a matter of seconds before you feel fine once again. Good luck hun

Panic attacks aren’t fatal and there are med’s to help you cope with these. Suggest you make an appointment to see your G.P. who will advise you of the treatment options available – one of these may be counseling.
I empathize with you as, when I learned my step-father had terminal cancer, I had panic attacks for a few months. I used to get an ice pack, wrap it in a bath towel, go back to my bed and hug the daylights out of it while doing deep breathing and slowly expelling the air. I found this helped me to calm down a bit.
It’s important you let your parents know whenever you have any sort of health issue.
