@xfy39 they are nothing alike…but what i think the previous post meant to say was that once you’ve learned how to play a real guitar, switching over to Guitar Hero and having to condense all that material into 5 lil buttons just doesn’t go over well in a guitarist’s mind – trust me I know. It confuses us guitar players…and thus, we usually can’t play GH nearly as well as say…our gamer friends who couldn’t play a real guitar to save their life!
Not that there’s anything wrong with that :)

    HHAHAHA yes! SO true :P

The worst is seeing the triangular patterns across the screen; what do I think? Arpeggios…but wait…you can’t…play them on…guitar hero :S
Haha! I’ll just stick to the real deal now :)

I’m good at both but sometimes guitar hero seems more difficult.

:D She is so adorable. She kinda reminds me of Marjorie from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10, with the way she talks.

And I suck at Guitar Hero, I can claim that. haha

I explained this to the other dude.

Exactly. They’re nothing alike. A computer taken to it’s infinite potential is way faster and more complex than anything my hands can do.

You’re acting like guitar hero is a real cover. Those buttons don’t correlate to notes. The chord pinch harmonics they make you do in some songs don’t exist on a guitar. They can interpret the song in a way that is impossible if they wanted to make a shitty game.

  • xfy39 said:

How the hell is guitar hero harder to master than a real guitar? Your on crack dude. They are absolutely nothing alike.

  • mrsyrupsipper804 said:

i agree she kinda reminds me of Hilary Swank but funnier

  • ihugtheworld said:

She should try a hand at acting perhaps. Apart from that she’s awesome musician.

  • ann379 said:

hihi we know that you know how to play guitar relax dont stress about it

  • cba1067950 said:

    There are 5 buttons.

The intent is entirely different. Guitar hero can throw out an infinite amount of notes at an unplayable rate. Guitarists despite the potential possibilities, can only play what is possible. It’s the difference between a drum machine and a drummer. No drummer can do a roll on every tom, snare and bass drum, but a drum machine can. Robots are just faster and expect more precision. When you play a real song it doesn’t have to be perfect.

  • muchen123 said:

i seriously hope im wrong here but if u mean guitar hero is harder to master you have obviously no common sense….guitar hero has 4 buttons and one lever as opposed to countless combinations you can do with 22 frets and 6 strings not to mention the different precussion sounds you can make with different areas of the guitar and thats just the standard guitar, dont get me wrong i love guitar hero but it no where near as difficult to master as an actual guitar.

  • batitombo said:

    I know man, I know

  • xzxJennaxzx said:

yes i agree entirely haha. i play both and oi fun!!!

  • cba1067950 said:

I play both. It’s like anything. If you do it enough you get better. The learning curve for guitar hero is way easier though, even if it’s ultimately harder to master.

Both are still fun. Getting drunk in my friends basement while playing guitar hero is exactly as sloppy and pointless as being drunk in a real band.

  • MrGameposter said:

Now I want to try and tune a guitar hero Controller to DADGAD just to see if it’s possible….

  • TheoH74 said:

so damn true… gotta calibrate the damn screen and the guitfiddle… and then jump to expert. god damn simplified triplets!
