Is this anxiety with lexapro normal?

I started lexapro 8 days ago and for the first 5 days I felt fine but about 3 days ago i noticed the anxiety increase. Ive read that its normal to have increased anxiety in the begining but im wondering for how long it lasts.

I think that you need to contact your Doctor as soon as possible. I am not familiar with the side affects of Lexapro, but I find it concerning that you should have increased anxiety, when the objective is to lessen your anxiety. Lexapro might not be the best medication for you, however, your Doctor would be the person to advise you.
