Medically, is it ever ok to slap someone’s face to wake them from a state of panic attacks or anxiety attacks?

If I can get replies from medical experts it would be much more helpful. If not panic or anxiety attacks, under what medical condition should it be used for? I am writing an essay so I need accurate information.

I’m not a medical expert, but I don’t think you will find any scientific basis for benefits of slapping a patients face for any condition. Panic attacks and anxiety will never be cured with slapping… even though some people could use a good slap :)
