Morning Anxiety Zoloft

starting generic zoloft?
Im about to start the generic zoloft for anxiety and panic and i was wondering what would be better..to take it at night before bed or in the morning?…i heard it works great too so im excited to start it!
I have been dealing with anxiety for the past two years and have on four different medications including Zoloft. Zoloft was the first medication I was on, which didn’t work out that great. I was also very excited to start it because I redepressantsms and went to the website. I think these types of pills are like a pair of shoes, you have to try on a couple to find the perfect pair. Just be careful with the side effects with all antidepressents. I have had MANY side effects which is the reason why I have been changing my meds so much. I actually now see a physicartrist for my medication management because my liver enzymes where elevated due to Cymbalta.
To answer your question, I would definetly recommend for you to take any pill at night. The reason is because if you encounter any uncomfortable side effects such as dizziness, nausua or more anxiety then you will be asleep already.
I’m not sure how severe your anxiety is but mine was really bad to the point where I was having two or three panice attacks a day and finding myself in the emergency room, once calling 911. Also the main thing you want to remember is these pills take anywhere from four to eight weeks to actually get into your system.
Good luck and congratulations that you are seeking help. Anxiety, Panic Disorder and Depression are sometimes hard to accept. Don’t worry about what other people think. You are not alone! I have a lot of people that may think it’s a weakness, but after two years, I figure that I have to do whats best for me. Only you know how difficult it is to feel this way. I hope and pray you have someone close to support you. I am blessed to have a loving husband to support me.
