How do you calm nervous dog during storms?

My 9 year old yellow lab has gotten more and more anxiety during thunder storms. What makes matters worse is that we just moved to Florida where it storms for an hour at least every day. I am looking for an all natural remedy that actually WORKS I do not want to drug him up with meds from the doctor. Any advice would be appreciated!
