For the most part, I agree with the article, however, I do have an issue with your first point. Understanding your triggers are very important, however, I would not use that understanding in order to avoid these situations. I have no desire to avoid something, this in part only encourages my attacks as it causes stress in the fact that I am trying to avoid something I feel should not in general be an issue. Personally, I have found that purposely exposing myself to these triggers in order to prove to myself that they are harmless and that the attacks are harmless has been more beneficial than avoiding them completely. I would think that charging through something would be healthier than going around it.
