Panic Anxiety Disorder Association

Anxiety And Alcohol?
I had anxiety disorder for a few years, I don’t drink that much only socially but when I do drink my anxiety is sky high the next day, panic attacks are also common.
Is there away to stop this, I like the odd drink now and then when I go out but its ruining it, even one drink will make me anxious.
I think I’ve created a negative neurological association with alcohol, I.E it made me anxious once and I have associated this feeling to every hangover I get.
Im assuming you dont suffer from anxiety when you had a few drinks since you say the next day it comes…if you must drink and your sensitive to feel the onset of an anxiety attack i would take either 2mil valium or perhaps .25 xanax those are quite small doses yet need a doctors prescription to get them..i wonder if smoking grass gives you a similar after effect as alcohol?
