Panic Anxiety Disorder Medication

I am looking for an anxiety/panic disorder medication…?
I once heard that there was one kind that isn’t a daily pill, that you can take when you are having an attack and it helps to soothe (I guess you could say).
I’m really looking for an easier out. I don’t want to be attached to a serious medication daily. I don’t have panic attacks or bad anxiety daily but when it does happen… I really need something to help me cope with it until it is over, or to speed it up because it takes too much control of my life.
Have you heard of something you can take during an actual attack? Not just daily? If not, what the lightest daily do you think?
I know I am not a doctor and I’d have to go somewhere to be prescribed something but I want to have an idea what to look for and suggest my doctor look into because from experience, I am tired of letting the doctor take forever to figure out what’s wrong. I want to have solid questions/beliefs on the medications he may/may not suggest and I want to get an idea what would be best for me?
Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.
Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI – Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There’s this strange herb called “St John’s Wort” – it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John’s Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced… you have that “learned behavior” in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior – Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction… There are several other techniques to help cope them!
