I used to have panic attacks that were so bad that I literally wanted to be put out. The trigger is a repetitive cycle of doing things you have no control over that you believe cause you damage. It’s in the knowing that you will be subject to the stress and pressure again and again that blow out your nerves. So look into your life and find the point where you decided to take a different course either by routine or by attitude. Both will change the effects of your anxiety.

So i now have to go to a new schhol a new home new friends…as you can see i have to adjust to many things now. I suffer from panic disorder. I dont think some people understand how much it hurts and how hard it is to control. I take medicin and its working quite well. Im now a lot happier, i made friends and i love my new home and have plenty support. I feel better to know that im not alone in this. thanks.

By the looks of your physique your diet and level of fitness is not a contributing factor to panic attacks.

Poor Diet and Lack of exercise is the leading cause of health problems so I would consider that a solution for any health problems anybody might have.

And for me it’s kinda the opposite, ANY change of sensation HELPS to relieve my panic attack, that’s why some times when I get ready to drive over that bridge I will turn the AC up full power, or roll the wondows down, pull my hair or ANYTHING to change the sensation. I’ve had some weird dreams about that bridge, 1 of which I dreamed the bridge was IN MY HOUSE and I had to cross it to get to my bedroom, LOL

  • pgy002 said:

(continued)Usually when I get on the actual bridge I’m not that panicy it’s just that LONG straight continous drive from the redlight to the bridge with NO PLACE to stop if I need to that gets me. What scares me now is I’m afraid I’m gonna get so nervous that I will pass out and run off of the bridge and cause a HUGE devestaion! I know that will probably NEVER happen, 1 of many reasons it bc there are good rails around the bridge so I prolly couldn’t run off it anyway, but still scares me.

    Thanks for replying.
It’s not a water bridge, it’s a bridge that goes over an interstate. it’s a VERY short bridge so it’s strange that it would terrify me SO MUCH. The thing is I get kinda panicy when there is NO should on the road to pull off on, IN CASE I need to. And there is a red light about 200 yards from the bridge and from there to the bridge it’s just a STRAIGHT drive and there are no shoulders to pull off on because it’s an offramp to get onto the interstate. cond.

In listening to your video, a possible explanation for why your life style changes caused your attacks to go away has to do with fluid levels and fluid retention. The canals in your ears, if over pressurized with fluid, will cause the little “hairs” in there to flatten so that they no longer send proper signals to the brain. Dietary and lifestyle changes can have an effect on those fluid levels. My ear doctor recommended a modified zone diet and eating 6 times a day to even out the fluid swings.

  • pchanson42 said:

Does the bridge involve a change in elevation? some get higher in the middle of the span. I used to get panic attacks when driving also. but ONLY when I was going up and down hills. The changes in pressure in my inner ears triggered them. Get your ears checked. Also, without a properly functioning vestibular system, driving out over nothingness as in a bridge can have a destabilizing effect and send the brain into a fight or flight response which is the very essence of a panic attack.

  • pchanson42 said:

Anyone have inner ear problems? Here’s a suggestion: Get the book “Phobia Free” by Harold N. Levinson. get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson’s work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication called meclizine. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly. Write me, I’ll send links to 13 medical studies on pub-med showing link between panic/agor and inner ear problems. Correlation:60-90%.

I get them when I drive over a certain bridge! I wish I could get ride of THAT!

When I get a stomach ache it triggers panic attacks for me too. I’m going to watch your other videos on eating better, thanks for sharing. By the way I have had panic attacks for 24 years, tell me that dont suck.
