Panic Attacks For Dummies

Is a hole in your tooth a cavity for sure?
I know this is going to make me sound like a dummy, but im 20 years old and never have had a cavity before.
I had a hole in my tooth before and it was just a weak spot in my tooth enamel. But now i have like three or four holes, like out of nowhere, only one of them hurts but im thinking it might be because my wisdom teeth are growing in and my tooth is just getting pushed. So are these cavities?
Im going to go to the dentist, but im terrified of needles, i have panic attacks and get sick. So im praying this isnt, what do yall think?
It sounds like they are definately cavities, you said there was a weak spot in your enamel, well this can get weaker and then you get a whole with caries in it. If they are visible in the mouth it could mean that they are quite advanced, but again they might just be pretty shallow. These days dentistry is pretty good, if you do need a needle for treatment they can put numbing gel on it so you dont feel it so much, another thing they can give you if you are really nervous is Gas (also known as laughing gas) it helps relax you and makes the whole thing a lot easier. You really should go cause right now they might just be minor problems you don;t want them to get bigger and bigger cause that than means you need more treatment and more intense treatment.
