Paxil Anxiety Dose
How has anyone done with taking paxil?
I have been taking paxil for a couple of weeks now. I have to start out taking small doses b/c of stomach irritation. I feel really groggy on it, but I do feel a sense of calm and not worrying as much about things. I was on elavil~amitriptiline but it caused such bad weight gain.
How has this drug worked for you? I fight depression and anxiety, and my best friend battles with the same problem and said it really helped her feel better.

I was on it 12 years and it was perfectly fine. It worked well for me. I did keep 10 or 15 lbs on because of it but honey that is going to be the case for almost any SSRI. There is the generic if you are concerned about expense, paroxetine.
