Phone Anxiety?
I don’t know whats up. Whenever I call someone, I feel anxious and I dont know why. It hasnt always been this way and it isnt like this with everybody. Im new at school and Im trying to make friends (I do have friends but Im trying to make best friends) and Ive been at school a year now. Ive always adjusted easily but this school I havent because my social life is (phhhhhhth). I want to get over this whole feeling anxious about calling or texting people but I dont know how. if they dont answer it takes me like a month to call back because I feel like Im hounding em. I dont know whats up with me. Im done with wanting to settle and I just want to settle but my phone anxiety is getting in the way. I want to get rid of it without therapy or prescription pills, I just want to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Im also aftaid of them not picking up.
envision yourself being calm while talking to these people, and then practice practice OR get a job that uses the phone or is in RETAIL where you talk to people all day, and before you know it, you’ll be comfortable with all people.
You’re also nervous because you don’t know what to say, so start to read the paper, books magazines and get all kinds of stuff to talk about.
