Pills Anxiety
Are anti depressants and anit anxiety pills the same thing?
I read somewhere that there were such a thing as “anti anxiety” pills.
Are these just the same as “anti depressants”?
Obviously anxiety and depression are linked but they arent totally the same are they?
I mean can you have one and not the other or is it always both?

No, not the same. Anti depressants are all kinds of things, and are often stimulants. They have psychotropic affects of various kinds and ‘work’ in a variety of ways. Anti anxiety meds are always depressants designed to calm the body. They work basically like alcohol does. Makes you less shaky, controls the heart rate, etc. As far as anxiety and depression, no not the same and not always co-concurrent. Someone can have a lot of anxiety and be otherwise a very happy person. If anxiety has reached the point of panic attacks, depression usually ensues as well because of the extreme emotional and physical drain. In any case, all of these issues are resolvable without medications of any sort.
