As a 15 year old, despite my political beliefs (which are definitely more left and definitely not conservative), I totally understand this song, and it’s RIGHT. What it’s saying is TRUE. And that’s scary.

@wowimacracker Dude, there are A LOT of kids just like you. That is what this whole album is about. Wilson is the only guy out there brave enough to write about it. The record companies just peddle death metal and trance to these kids. Every mega successful person I have ever met has ADHD like symptoms. They have just learned to focus their tremendous energy into something they are passionate about. Stay true…..

A great song and a great band but definitely the wrong message here… This is another generation and this does not have to be bad…

This may sound crazy but I actually can really relate to this song very well. Not in the sense as a teenager but in this very specific group of lyrics:
    Don’t try engaging me
    The vaguest of shrugs
    The prescription drugs
    You’ll never find
    A person inside
    My face is mogadon
    Curiosity
    Has given up on me
    I’m tuning out desires
The pills are on the rise
When i was in Elementary school the teachers told my parents I was too hyper and I was diagnosed with ADHD and I wason pills that made me a zombie

oooh, i like the way it cuts straight to the end riff unlike the album version.

I’ve lived like this before. Waking up to consume psychotropic drugs every morning. Living a completely empty existence, not being able to experience emotion as a result of the prescribed drug intake. Almost failed out of high school. Quit taking the drugs and got my emotions back, but still live a pretty shitty life lol
