In these excerpts from an actual behavior therapy session, Dr. Goran-Ost helps a woman overcome a lifelong, severe fear of snakes in only 3 hours. He suggests cognitive processes that could in part be responsible for Mariam’s dramatic improvement.

    3 hours to end a phobia…unbelievable. I would have seen 12 clients in that time.

    Great! just Great!!! … i’ve done some similar “therapy” with tarantulas to my friends… and after a while they was even holding tarantulas and we made some photos lol
