you dont need pills, or therapy!!! Pay attention to all sensations, WATCH THEM, racing thoughts, headaches, sweaty palms, stomach hurting etc…..being very very very very calm, And I can promise you they will start to disappear the more you WATCH THEM!!!! REMEMBER THIS OK…….DON’T FIGHT YOUR THOUGHTS, YOU WILL SURELY LOSE THE BATTLE. JUST LET THEM BE THERE, WATCH THEM!!! CLOSELY CALMLY……THEY WILL START TO DISAPPEAR OVER TIME!!!!

by the way i suggest you all look into cognitive behaviour therapy. ask your doctor about it. it wont get rid of anxiety but it will help you cope much better.

do any of you know why you have anxiety? most anxiety is brought on by traumatic event or thoughts of impending doom. however usually there is a very good reason behind why our brain tries to protect us in this very strange way. let us know.

I thought I had cancer when I was in second grade. I lived my life thinking I would die soon, sometime upon high school graduation. I never made any life plans or dreamt of the future or what I wanted to do with my life or a career or schooling. I never thought about moving out of my parent’s home, or anything, because I thought I would die before that time. When I was 20 I found out I didn’t have cancer and I wasn’t going to die. Now 32 and live with my parents bc it is scary to ‘leave home’.

This is what you need to do. Pay attention to what is happening to you. All the pains aches and everything. What’s happening is fear of fear. Which is causing the aniexty,
noticing whats going on you can lessen the symptoms you are having and control them. It’s like this, your fueling the symptoms by fear. Don’t fear them, and I can promise you they will calm down and vanish!!! GOD BLESS

I totally understand where you are coming from. I to suffer from GAD, DP, Argophobia, it’s very hard to leave the house. Can’t sleep right and whatnot. It’s a terrible feeling. Don’t forget you aren’t alone.

It’s hard, I’ve had anxiety/panic attacks for over 7 yrs now.. I try my best to control them but its extremely hard when no one around you understands :(

its funny now that i manage my stress but my friend and i used to joke how we would have to “come to terms with dying” just to go to sleep. all we have to fear is fear itself. you’re gonna die either way. might as well be brave and laugh love and live in the meantime.

hello, I’ve suffered panic attacks in my case caused by 20 years of cannabis smoking which probably magnified a lot of issues in my head. I wrote a song about it perhaps you would like to hear it. You come across as a nice guy and I hope things get better for you.
