it has to be simple to get rid of anxiety?

i get anxious in many situations because of distorted fears i have. what if i changed the fears and had a very positive outlook on things. or what if i obtained a very clear level of thinking where i had a better view on reality. i’m sure this would wash away getting anxious . someone help me out.
