Severe anxiety disorder,scary words. At some point in our lives we will all experience what is know as a panic attack. To what extent will depend on how you cope with the whole episode. It is a very terrifying experience. Mostly the symptoms do get mistaken for other things, such as a heart attack. Just to touch base on the symptom that you will have during an episode, so then at least you can rest assure it is not something more sinister. Oh, before i continue please be reassured this condition is not terminal, and can be cured.

* Heavy and regular sweating.
* Dizzy spells.
* Very fast heart beat that eventually gets shallow.
* Ringing in the ears.
* Very dry mouth.
* Tightness in your chest area.
* Restricted breathing.
* Tingling in your limbs.
There are many others but these are the most common severe anxiety disorder symptoms.Now you can understand why the symptoms are very similar to a heart attack. Severe anxiety disorder is very traumatic, not only for you but the love ones that have to watch you go through this. The chances are after the initial episode you will find your self rushing off to the closest medical centre thinking the worst. That is only natural, you certainly would not be the first.

This is where problems starts and everything goes pear shaped, once the trauma of the first episode is embedded in your brain it creates a fear factor. A fear of having another attack, and if that is not bad enough you even avoid going to the initial venue the attack took place, thinking it may trigger something.This all sound silly, but this is why it is call severe anxiety disorder and that is a fact.

Part 1, the front of the brain where rationalization takes place, and part 2, the middle of the brain where fear fear mechanisms are located.

So when a situation comes about and we become anxious and scared it is because our own bodies protection device kicks in and sends brain waves to part 2 of the brain the fear mechanism, usually this will last a couple second then switch back automatically, but unfortunately if you suffer from severe anxiety disorder this is near impossible unless you have the right technique a spoke about earlier.

One thing I want to explain is EVERYBODY has stress{GADS} short for generalized anxiety disorder symptoms, the difference now between you, and I, is I have the ability to switch back and forwards, I still experience fear like anyone else but it does not scare, or control me anymore.
