Well, in a way, I did and here is why:

She had just come out of an awful marriage (drinking, verbally abusive, cheating husband) and she swore up and down that she would never get married again in her life AND that she would only promise me one year and then she was done. I pretty much knew from the get go that she was the one for me so I was trying to figure out what I was going to do after a year.

It’s now 24 years later and we’ve been married for 20.
