Should I ride roller coasters if I get dizzy easily?

Sweet Catastrophe asked:
Okay I was wondering how I would be on a roller coaster. I haven’t rode one in about 8 years because I developed a fear of heights. I just remember a quick tummy tickle and that’s it. I have rode small log flumes since with the same result. My main concern is because within the past year I have experienced vertigo after getting off an elevator. I feel nauseous and dizzy for about 10 minutes then I’m fine. I know I can’t do spinny rides because I DO feel sick on those. I was wondering if I’d experience some sort of vertigo after getting off. If so, how can I prevent this? Motion sickness tablets? Or something else?
Thanks in advance(:
By roller coasters I mean ones in Disney like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain [not a roller coaster but same concept], Expedition Everest, etc. None that have loops or anything like that. Too scared to try them hahaha(: Also, NO Tower Of Terror!
