I have a severe fear of heights, we went to Colorado once and I freaked the whole time. I can tell it bothers him because he just can’t understand what it’s like for me and he loves the mountains. I mean it is bad, I have panic attack after panic attack from the altitude but I really cannot control it. So anyway we were wanting to get away for the weekend and he wants to go to Santa Fe New Mexico and do some skiing, I don’t really want to go and he seems upset. What can I do??????
Okay, I know I need to conquer my fear but really I just CANNOT do that!! I don’t think you understand, it is so severe I cannot even function when I get like that. I am not a mental case or anything, no other problems at all just when I get in the mountains I have this issue. I could go on some type of med but I’m afraid that will impair my judgement!! I am such a chicken!!!
