how to cure separation anxiety in dogs?

i just got a dog yesterday. she was found as a stray. she wont stop crying. when i put her in her cage and went downstairs she was barking and crying like crazy. my grandpa and i tried to quiet her down so we could all sleep. she crys when i leave the room. i dont want her to cry when im at school tomorrow. she also want to go outside all the time. when she is outside she wont go to the bathroom. is that because she was a stray.

Yes, she may not be used to sleeping in a cage may be torture to her. Maybe you can try giving her a small doggy bed. I am guessing you got her at a shelter? It will take a few days but show her you’re gentle and make sure she has toys around her. She may want to go outside because she used to be an outside dog? or wants to roam the streets again.She just needs to get used to her new home.
