Social Anxiety: Zeke – Part 4

28 June 2010 3 Comments

I talk about early advice I received from counselors and doctors, finding self-help books about social anxiety, and then discovering the Social Anxiety Institute website and all of its articles. I spent about four solid hours just reading the site after I found it! http:www.socialanxietyinstitute.org/

I agree. Ever felt like when you do have someone to talk to for example on the internet…that they might leave you and you are all alone again? Is there something taht triggers this?

highly sensitive persons may be more prone to developing social anxiety than other people, but regardless of what complex of conditions lead people to develop social anxiety, it is still social anxiety. Therefore, it can be overcome in the typical way, using repetitive cognitive-behavioral therapy methods. People with social anxiety tend to be really nice, except to themselves.
