Can an Anxiety/Panic attack cause an Asthma attack?

I’m doing a little research for a writing assignment; my main idea is a character that has panic attacks brought on by anxiety. I know that, during a panic attack, one can have dizziness and shortness of breath. What I need to know is whether the increased heart rate that often accompanies a panic attack could induce a related asthma attack. Sources are appreciated; I tried to look on WebMD but to no avail.

I have tried deep breathing and distracting myself with things like a movie or game. Nothing is working!! To reduce stress I quit one of my jobs but it hasn’t had any effect either.

You can probably find the answer in your question. Look …

Is what I get sometimes an anxiety attack?

Sometimes, when I feel really stressed (i.e. something bad happened that day to me like if I got an F on a test or something) I almost feel like I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I can’t think straight and say or do things I normally wouldn’t do (not too crazy things but like say something to my boss I normally would never say). My blood pressure skyrockets immediately though I’m not sure if my heart rate increases.
Is that …
