are the concentration issues in depression similar to concentration issues in anxiety?

what i mean is do people who have concentration issues because they’re depressed have them MORE OFTEN because of excessive rumination, or simply because they can not focus (like in anxiety)?

Depression can cause ones thoughts to be slowed down, or agitated. Depression can also make a person ruminate about something. It’s hard to draw the line because if someone is agitated while depressed they may feel quite anxious. I hope you are doing OK. …

How do chemotherapy drugs affect the nervous system?

Hi I need to know how chemotherapy drugs affect the nervous system. And the side affects caused by them on the nervous system.

Chemotherapy adversely affects cognitive function both acutely and chronically, but little is known about the underlying mechanisms. A new study shows that short-term chemotherapy causes not only acute injury to progenitor cells, but also delayed damage to myelin.
Some chemotherapy drugs can cause direct or indirect changes in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), the cranial nerves, or peripheral …

sleeping. I started to become frantic.
When I was 18, my doctor put me on Xanax and a sleep aid. And for the first time in a year …

Stimulant medications work for energy and focus, but seem to cause more anxiety for most people. Has anyone used both types of medications? What was the result?

I have ADD and mild anxiety too. I currently take Adderall, but nothing for anxiety. Adderall did increase my anxiety when …
