Yes, counseling should be available on your campus. Check your school’s website and search “Counseling Center”.
If you need to use your insurance, it’s not going to matter if you’re not in your home state. Your insurance is billed like usual no matter where you happen to be at the time.

Don’t Blame me asked: I went to the doctor today to confirm if I have GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) or not and the doctor was almost positive that I do and is referring me to a psychologist just to get an “official” diagnosis. I don’t know how to tell my mom that I have a mental disorder, we don’t really have open communication. What should I do?
