Why is there so much unhappiness in the UK?

I’ve noticed in the last 5 years or so that so many people are suffering depression, anxiety and general unhappiness. Now there’s a report that the UK has the most unhappy, unhealthy and unsafe children in the developed world. It’s not like the UK is a country that suffers as much poverty, famine, war and stuff that makes life incredibly hard in other parts of the world, so what’s going on?

i think its the new world order slowly coming into …

Difference between social anxiety and avoidant personality disorder?

What is the MAIN difference between social anxiety and avoidant personality disorder? I’m not looking for definitions – I know what they are and I have read the definitions but they sound the same to me. Thanks in advance.
So far I haven’t seen a right answer. A person with avoidant disorder DOES want to be part of the group – that is the difference between avoidance disorder and schizoid disorder. A schizoid is a loner and prefers to be alone – not …

Are Yorkshire Terrier puppies prone to separation anxiety?

I work a 9-5 job and only have the evenings and weekends free to devote to a puppy? Would a Yorkshire Terrier be a good choice?

Any puppy/dog can have this problem. I’d be more concerned about being able to properly housebreak a puppy. Toy breeds have tiny bladders. As far as a puppy being destructive while your away, crate it.

What would you recommend I do?

My name is Peter. Since seventh grade I have been suffering from debilitating anxiety. My OCD transformed itself into an eating disorder, and now I go back and forth between anorexia and the occasional binge. I have OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety disorder. I took Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac, and Cymbalta with little to no response. I also took Xanax and Klonopin (in small does) with no response. One of my newer doctors thinks I may have some kind of bipolar disorder. I’m depressed …
