Recommended Hypnotherapists in London?

I am suffering from chronic Anxiety Disorder. I recieved a small amount of cognitive treatment on the NHS but that was about three years ago and I still suffer from it to this day. A friend recommended I try going to a hypnotherapist. However, most of the ones I have seen are quite expensive, and I don’t want to go to someone who will hypnotise me into giving them my PIN number!
Can anyone recommend any trusting, effective (and possibly cheap) hypnotherapists in the London area, preferrably in …

9 month old separation anxiety at bedtime?!?

Hi mums, the last 2 nights my 9 month old won’t go down in his cot for me. We never had this problem before. The minute he is put down he screams and cries and puts his arms out to be picked up, he looks terrified. Even when we went up the stairs he started whimpering and the minute we enter the bedroom, he starts off. He was practically hanging in my arms from exhaustion, and I had to wait for him to drop …

Why do people dislike statistics?

Currently in a research/statistics class and was asked this question. I wonder if it is mostly related to math anxiety?

Hello,
Stats unfortunately can be manipulated and shoe horned to suite the agendas of many things including special interest groups. This can be annoying and frustrating. I am just making figures up here for arguments sake so you get the idea.
Here is an example: ban hand guns according to stats. 50,000 were sold in 1950 and there were 6000 murders.
180,000 sold in 1960 and there were 11,000 …

I have a loss of appetite?

Alright, so lately I’ve been worrying more than ever about my health. Cancer is one of my big worries even though I’m only 18. Lately I’ve had somewhat of a loss of appetite so of course I google it and the first thing I see is that it’s an early warning sign of cancer. So now I’m like wigging out. I know that my anxiety, stress and worrying can cause this also. Should I be worried?

You can guess all you want but it will not …

At what age do babies start getting separation anxiety?

I have a 4 month old and he’s happy with anyone that holds him, some babies this age cry if they don’t recognize the person.

Emma never went through it until about 7 months….even then I don’t know if I would have technically called it seperation anxiety or simple frustration. She was not yet crawling and could not follow me. As soon as she was able to crawl well, she just went where I went if she wanted to. If …

What does extreme fatigue, joint pain, and skin painful to the touch mean?

I am 53 years old and post menapausal. Ok, so I have arthritis, depression, and anxiety disorder. But, these things should be under control at this time. The skin problem is on the back of my neck, where I got sunburned everyday for 3 years (about ten years ago).
I see a Dr regularly, and am on medications for arthritis and depression. I only list those things because they could all fall under same heading. …
