Test Anxiety In Children
How late should my period be before I test?

Okay so. My period was due on Sunday. My cycle has always been a perfect 28 days and for some reason it’s incredibly off this month, because it is now Thursday afternoon. I don’t really have any symptoms of pregnancy at all, but there is a VERY high possibility that I could’ve conceived this month. There have been no changes in diet or excersice, I’m not on any medications at all, and I haven’t been stressing about being pregnant until about Tuesday when I still had no period. I took a 7-11 brand pregnancy test on Tuesday to deal with the anxiety I was feeling, and it was negative! So I don’t know if I tested too early with a cheap brand, or if I’m starting to have some medical problems!?

Help! If you have a child or are pregnant, how long did you wait to test, and with what brand?!

If it were me, I would test again with a better brand.

I tested positive with First Response 2 days BEFORE my period was due.

I suggest a re-test.

If it comes out negative, you’re just having an off cycle this month. If it keeps being irregular, see your doctor to make sure something isn’t going on that needs to be addressed.

Good luck.
