Webmd Anxiety
Why is it that every time someone in this section has…?

…anxiety, irritability, restlessness or mood swings everyone here tells them they have bipolar. These people are not told that they have anxiety problems, OCD, Depression, ADHD, they ALL have Bipolar. I’ve seen a question here where the person was exhibiting the classic signs of Pure-O OCD (which I have) and could obviously be helped through certain behavior modification techniques in conjunction with medication. EVERY SINGLE answer was telling this person they had bipolar just because they said they had anxiety and mood swings. I know people who have bipolar. It means a lot more than just having elevated anxiety and mood swings.

Do people here realize that Bipolar is (relatively) uncommon for a psychological disorder and that it is the most grossly over-diagnosed of all the psychological disorders?

people here are uninformed
