I mean I’m the only one in my family that has this disorder so far. I get really worried which I know I shouldn’t but I think is it possible for my daughter to get this.I look at her and pray and hope that she doesn’t get it so I was just wondering. I also want to have more kids but scared that they will get this.

I wouldn’t worry so much about your daughter getting a panic disorder unless she starts to copy your mannerisms. I would advise you to see a psychiatrist and discuss this phobia with her/him. You can also get an idea of what is causing your panic attacks.

We can never be certain about what disorders might be passed from parent to child…

what we CAN be certain about is to love and support them regardless of what they have.

Never let your fear of illness prevent you from having children…because then, you are allowing the illness to control you instead of you controlling it!
